PHD Doctoral Consortium
We invite advanced doctoral students in Strategic Management and related areas to apply to participate in the Doctoral Consortium to be held as part of the Strategic Management Society's India Conference in December 2008. The consortium will meet on Dec 12th at the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. The facilitating faculty will constitute scholars drawn from a number of the leading business schools around the world. We expect to offset some of the costs of attending the conference through honorariums. Early applications are encouraged.
The SMS India 2008 Doctoral Consortium provides a great opportunity for doctoral students in strategic management to develop their research interests in a unique interdisciplinary and interactive workshop. A panel of distinguished research faculty will serve as mentors to provide guidance and feedback on attendees' research plans and proposals. The objectives of the 2008 Consortium are to provide a supportive setting where participants can:
- Receive guidance on the how to publish their research in the most appropriate outlets
- Broaden their professional network
- Learn about the challenges of building a successful academic career in strategic management
